The Islands of the Gods
Bali — the Island of the Gods — has a way of calling you when you’re ready. And when it does, trust that instinct. The island has a reputation for giving travelers exactly what they need: maybe it’s healing, maybe it’s adventure, maybe it’s just the reset button you’ve been waiting for.
For solo female travelers, Bali is one of the easiest places in the world to start — safe, welcoming, and full of other women answering the same call. From yoga retreats and surf camps, to traditional ceremonies surrounded by mystical jungle views... Bali is pure undiluted magic.

Bali FAQ
Is Bali safe?
Overall, Bali is very safe. However, in recent years there has been a rise in petty crime like theft, mostly in the most crowded areas like Canggu. There are some things to watch for, but still, I feel absolutely confident in recommending Bali as a solo girl destination.
Is Bali too crowded?
If you stick to the most touristic areas like Seminyak, Canggu, Uluwatu and Ubud, then yes. But as soon as you venture a little bit off-the-beaten-path, it's the opposite. There is so much waiting for you to discover.
Is it easy to move around Bali?
Very! You can choose to use taxis, our team of private drivers (driver directory included in the Bali Guide!) , or scooters (though roads can be chaotic for first-time riders).
Will I be lonely in Bali?
Absolutely not. Bali is a highly social island and you'll find it's incredibly easy to make friends and meet fellow female travelers!
