Explore Bali

The island of Bali - also known as "the island of the gods" - is an island that calls you when you're ready. If you're being called to go to Bali, don't ignore the call. Something is waiting for you there. An awakening, perhaps.

  • Best book to plan Bali!

This book is what finally helped me plan my Bali trip and not only that it also gave great local trips Alexa learned living in Bali and because of that and trusting myself I said yes to a local that gave me the best 2 days in Ubud and a true local tour including taking me into his home and sharing a meal with me and his family and teaching me so much real about Bali customs and culture. It really made the best trip of my life and after 6 years of a life changing brain injury this book helped me finally plan my trip and yo be open to things which I once totally was without a brain Injury. This trip gave me back so much of what I lost and Alexa’s book was beyond helpful!

  • I love this book!

I got this guide book months before leaving for an extended digital nomad adventure. It was so helpful with my preparation and now that I'm on the ground in Bali - it's blowing me away with how valuable it is. It's full of so many great - specific - possibilities, everything from restaurants to healing and wellness services to where to stay and actual suggested drivers and so much more. I love that there are a range of different budget options and yet not so many options that it's overwhelming. Instead, it feels like a map to the best kind of treasure hunt. There are also tips for safety, finances, self-care and more. If you're traveling solo to Bali, I highly recommend this guide!

  • My Bible!

I am currently mid week 3 in Bali and every single day that I’ve been here I am thankful that I have this book. I cannot imagine being here without it. This book isn’t just a guide, it’s an encouraging friend holding your hand, a local who can answer the many questions you’ll have and a wellspring of advice, plus a sisterhood you will belong to. I used to always reach for lonely planet because it’s a brand I am familiar with but this is soooooo much more than that!
Ps. Even if you’re not a solo girl traveller you still need to get this book.
